Dec. 8 (Bloomberg) -- The following stocks may rise or fall in Gulf Arab markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.
The QE Index advanced 1.1 percent to 8,625.42, the highest since October 2008. The Dubai Financial Market General Index increased 0.6 percent.
Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQK QD): Qatar’s second-biggest lender by assets said it listed its 275 million Swiss franc ($281 million) bond. The shares increased 1.7 percent to 91.5 riyals.
Emaar Economic City (EMAAR AB): The developer of King Adbullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia terminated a 390 million-riyal ($104 million) contract it awarded to Freyssinet Saudi Arabia after the completion of 60 percent of the project. The shares closed unchanged at 6.95 riyals.
