Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Rolls-Royce Group Plc has completed examinations of all Trent 900 engines delivered to A380 customers and carried out necessary changes, Tagesspiegel said, citing Richard Jonathan Parker, the company’s research director.
Rolls-Royce discovered very quickly the causes for the Nov. 4 engine blowout which led Qantas Airways Ltd. ground its fleet of six A380, the newspaper said, citing Parker.
The London-based company has drawn up an inspection plan that allows the fleet of A380 superjumbos to resume service, according to Parker.
