N.Y. Crude Oil Futures Rise, Reversing Earlier Decline of 0.7%

Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- New York crude oil rose, reversing an earlier decline of as much as 0.7 percent.

Crude oil futures for January delivery increased 27 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $89.46 a barrel at 2:20 p.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest level since Oct. 9, 2008. Oil earlier fell as low as $88.56 a barrel.
