Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Mexico trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 4:12 p.m. New York time.
The IPC index rose 0.9 percent to 37,737.13.
Axtel SAB de CV (AXTELCPO MM) gained 3.1 percent to 7.68 pesos, the steepest increase in almost two weeks. The Mexican telecommunications company was rated a new “overweight” at Barclays Capital by analyst Michel Morin, with a price estimate of 10 pesos per share.
Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste SAB de CV (ASURB MM) rose 3 percent to 67.62 pesos, its highest price since July 27. The airports operator announced that total passenger traffic for November rose 1 percent from a year earlier.
Organizacion Soriana SAB de CV (SORIANAB MM) increased 1.4 percent to a record 39.55 pesos. The Mexican retailer continues to expand to increase market share, brokerage firm Actinver wrote in an e-mailed note to clients today.
