Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Kenya, the world’s biggest exporter of black tea, appointed Sam Shollei as managing director of the state-owned Agricultural Finance Corp. for three years.
Shollei’s appointment takes effect from Nov. 1, Agriculture Minister Sally Kosgei said in a statement published in the Kenya Gazette dated Dec. 3.
Agricultural Finance Corp. is a “non-bank development financial institution” that issues loans to farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture said on its website.
