Greece Must Raise EU5.9 Bln by Year-End, Paper Says

(Corrects headline to clarify target Greece needs to meet.)

Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Greece will need to collect an additional 5.9 billion euros ($7.8 billion) of revenue by the end of 2010 to keep its budget deficit within the 9.4 percent of gross domestic product agreed with the European Commission, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund, Imerisia reported today, without saying where it got the information.

The country will also need to raise an extra 7.8 billion euros in 2011 to meet budgetary targets for that year agreed with the three international organizations, the Athens-based daily newspaper said.
