Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The European Commission wants to establish a Europe-wide market for renewable energy, Die Welt reported, citing a draft paper from the commission.
A trans-European trade in renewable energy would save up to 100 billion euros ($133.4 billion) until 2020, the newspaper said. The governments should also lower subsidies for renewable energy and set incentives through regulation such as energy efficiency requirements, Die Welt reported.
