Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The Czech Republic’s PX equity index advanced 0.8 percent to 1,175 at the 4:03 p.m. end of trading in Prague, its highest close in more than three months.
The following were among the most active stocks on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.
ECM Real Estate Investments AG (ECM CP) jumped the most in almost three months, adding 14 percent to 100 koruna after the developer said its creditors backed a debt-reorganization plan.
New World Resources NV (NWR CP), the largest Czech supplier of coal to steelmakers, had the biggest one-day rally in seven months, gaining 5.5 percent to 229 koruna. Benchmark European coal derivatives rose to more than $112 dollars a metric ton in Amsterdam, the highest in more than two years.
