Dec. 6 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies are having unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 11:16 a.m. New York time.
The IGBC Index gained 0.7 percent to 15,490.78, while the Colcap Index added 0.7 percent to 1,843.18.
Banco de Bogota SA (BOGOTA CB) rose 1.3 percent to 51,500 pesos. Colombia’s securities regulator authorized a capital increase for Leasing Bogota SA Panama, according to a filing on the regulator’s website. Leasing Bogota will carry out the acquisition of BAC-Credomatic GECF Inc. by Banco de Bogota.
Canacol Energy Ltd. (CNEC CB) added 0.2 percent to 3,060 pesos. The Calgary-based oil and gas producer was initiated with a “buy” recommendation at Santiago-based brokerage Celfin Capital SA.
The company will increase oil production and reserves, the brokerage said today in a report distributed by e-mail.
