Dec. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has dismissed Deputy Finance Minister Tetyana Yefymenko, according to the President’s website.
Yefymenko was involved in a new tax code that sparked two weeks of protests by small businesses. Lawmakers approved Yanukovych’s proposal to retain a simplified tax system for small entrepreneurs Dec. 2.
Yanukovych also fired first Deputy Agriculture Minister Serhiy Melnyk, according to the website.
