The company’s 260-megawatt La Paloma Generating Plant Unit 2 had 17.2 megawatts idled as of 3:15 p.m. local time, according to a California Independent System Operator report.
The generating unit is part of Complete Energy Holdings’s 1,022-megawatt plant located in McKittrick, California, which is about 110 miles (177 kilometers) northwest of Los Angeles, according to the company’s website.
