Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Share sales in Turkey may exceed 10 billion liras ($6.8 billion) next year, Dunya said, citing Istanbul Stock Exchange Chairman Huseyin Erkan.
Erkan said 21 companies held share offerings this year, raising nearly 3.5 billion liras, according to Istanbul-based Dunya. He said initial public offerings by airline Pegasus Havayollari, automotive, banking and construction group Dogus Holding and secondary public offerings by lenders Finansbank AS and Turkiye Halk Bankasi AS were expected in the first half, Dunya reported.
