Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- India’s federal government didn’t borrow from the central bank in the week ended Nov. 26, refraining from using a short-term loan facility, the Reserve Bank of India said in an e-mailed statement in Mumbai today.

The federal government had no outstanding debt with the central bank, according to the statement. States repaid 2.2 billion rupees to the Reserve Bank in the week, lowering outstanding advances to 12.4 billion rupees.
