Dec. 3 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 2:14 p.m. New York time.
The IGBC Index gained 0.3 percent to 15,377.64, while the Colcap Index added 0.3 percent to 1,830.26.
Ecopetrol SA (ECOPETL CB) rose 0.8 percent to 4,020 pesos. Colombia’s state-controlled crude producer named Fernando Gutierrez as general manager of its subsidiary Oleoducto Bicentenario de Colombia S.A.S.
Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA (AVAL CB) increased 0.7 percent to 1,465 pesos. Colombia’s biggest financial holding company bought 1.37 trillion pesos ($727.4 million) of convertible bonds from Banco de Bogota, according to a filing posted on Colombia’s securities regulator’s website.
Banco de Bogota (BOGOTA CB), Colombia’s second-biggest lender, dropped 0.4 percent to 50,820 pesos.
