BT Offers to Match U.K. Government Broadband Subsidy, Times Says

BT Group Plc offered to equal an 830 million-pound ($1.3 billion) U.K. government subsidy to provide its superfast broadband service to 90 percent of the population by 2017, and has also begun a trial to boost speeds to 10 times their present level, the London-based Times reported, citing the company.
