Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The following is a list of companies whose shares may have unusual price changes in central European markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names. Share prices are from the last close.
Poland’s WIG20 Index rose 2.1 percent, the Czech PX Index gained 3.7 percent and Hungary’s BUX Index rose 3.2 percent.
LPP SA (LPP PW): Poland’s largest clothing retailer said 11-month sales increased 2 percent from last year, reaching 1.82 billion zloty ($595 million). LPP shares rose 2.4 percent to 2,150 zloty.
Tauron Polska Energia SA (TPE PW): Poland’s second-largest utility signed a 2.3 billion zloty contract to buy coal from Kompania Weglowa SA. Tauron rose 3.9 percent to 6.44 zloty.
