Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- South Korea’s government plans to raise its forecast for next year’s current-account surplus to around $15 billion from June’s projection of $7 billion, Edaily reported, citing a finance ministry official it didn’t identify.

The government will likely keep its economic growth forecast for 2011 at around 5 percent and its inflation target at about 3 percent in an outlook to be released on Dec. 14, the Korean-language online news provider said in the report.
