European Coal Rises to $111.50, Heads Toward Highest 2010 Close

Benchmark European coal derivatives advanced, heading for this year’s highest close.

Coal for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year rose $1.25, or 1.1 percent, to $111.50 a metric ton at 10:01 a.m. in London.
