Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of 1:11 p.m. New York time.
The IGBC Index gained 1.7 percent to 15,338.63, while the Colcap Index added 1.8 percent to 1,825.55.
Banco de Bogota (BOGOTA CB) increased 1 percent to 51,000 pesos. Colombia’s second-biggest lender signed a loan agreement for $1 billion with foreign banks for the acquisition of BAC-Credomatic GECF Inc., according to a filing posted by the company on the securities regulator’s website.
Ecopetrol SA (ECOPETL CB) jumped 3.5 percent to 3,990 pesos, the biggest increase since Nov. 17. Colombia’s state-controlled crude producer has been asked by Reliance Industries Ltd. of India and ONGC Videsh Ltd. to jointly develop oil and gas blocks in the South Asian country, Juan Alfredo Pinto Saavedra, Colombia’s ambassador to India, said in an interview in Mumbai yesterday.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PREC CB) dropped 1.3 percent to 60,080 pesos. The Toronto-based oil producer that operates fields in Colombia will pay dividends worth $25 million on the five days following Dec. 16, according to a filing on the securities regulator’s website posted yesterday.
