Dec. 1 (Bloomberg) -- UBS AG, which restarts its global commodities business today, said it will make agriculture a top priority, the Financial Times reported, citing Jean Bourlot, the Swiss bank’s global commodities chief.
Bourlot said that in agricultural commodities, UBS wants to “become a market leader,” the newspaper reported.
The bank largely abandoned its commodities business after the 2008 financial crisis, the FT said.
