Dec. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Rupen Tanna, the managing director of energy trading at Noble Group, resigned today and will rejoin Bank of America Corp.’s Merrill Lynch unit as global co-head of commodities in London, SparkSpread said.
Tanna will work with Rob Jones, Merrill’s Houston-based co-head of commodities, and they will report to David Sobotka, global head of proprietary trading, SparkSpread said today on its website.
Tanna wouldn’t comment today via his email account at Noble. Bank of America spokeswoman Victoria Garrod also declined to comment.
Tanna spent 12 years at Merrill Lynch Commodities and its predecessor Entergy-Koch Trading before he joined Noble last November in London, according to SparkSpread.
