Renault Brazil to Create Third Shift, Hire 1,000, Valor Reports

Renault SA plans to create a third shift and hire 1,000 people at a plant in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, Brazil in sixth months’ time, Valor Economico newspaper reported, citing Jean-Michel Jalinier, head of the local unit.

The automaker plans to boost sales in Brazil by 20 percent in 2011, while sales across the industry may rise 8 percent, the Sao Paulo-based newspaper said.
