CPC to Increase December LPG Prices in Taiwan on Costs

Dec. 1 (Bloomberg) -- CPC Corp., Taiwan’s state-owned oil company, said it will increase domestic liquefied petroleum gas prices for December to reflect higher international costs.

Prices were raised by NT$2 (6.6 cents) per kilogram, the Taipei-based company said on its website today. The refiner said it will keep natural gas prices unchanged.

LPG, a by-product of oil refining, crude oil and gas production, is used for cooking, heating and as motor fuel. The wholesale price of the fuel for households will climb to NT$28.46 a kilogram from NT$26.46, effective tomorrow, the company said.
