Swiss Motorcyclist Grosjean Dies After Collision, AP Reports

Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Pascal Grosjean, a Swiss motorcyclist, died after colliding with another rider moments after winning a race at the Dubai Autodrome, the Associated Press reported, citing a statement by track officials.

Tony Jordan, the third-place finisher at a Sportsbike Championship race yesterday, ran into Grosjean, 39, after crossing the finishing line at about 124 miles per hour (200 kilometers per hour), the news service reported today.

Grosjean was airlifted to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Jordan is in serious condition, the AP said.
