Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Software AG is considering a major acquisition for which it may spend as much as 1 billion euros ($1.3 billion), Boersen-Zeitung reported, citing an interview with Chief Financial Officer Arnd Zinnhardt.
After completing the integration of IDS Scheer AG, bought last year, the company is seeking another acquisition, possibly in 2012, the newspaper cited Zinnhardt as saying. The purchase would be financed by leveraging, according to the newspaper, which didn’t identify any potential target.
