Nov. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Calpine Corp., a U.S. power producer, restored output from a natural gas-fired electricity generator in California.
The company’s 880-megawatt Delta Energy Center was operating at full capacity as of 3:15 p.m. local time, the California Independent System Operator said in a report.
The center had 300 megawatts idled at the same time yesterday, a previous report showed. Delta Energy is near San Francisco in Pittsburg, California.
One megawatt is enough power for about 800 average U.S. homes, according to the Energy Department.
