Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Israel and the U.S. have reached an understanding on a proposed 90-day freeze on West Bank settlement construction that would enable the renewal of talks with the Palestinians, Israel’s Army Radio reported, without saying how it obtained the information.
While the freeze would not apply to east Jerusalem, Israel would coordinate new construction in the disputed part of the city with the U.S., Army Radio said. The U.S. will provide Israel with a document outlining the main points of the arrangement in the coming days, Army Radio said.
