Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The Nigerian military raided a clandestine base in the Niger Delta region and arrested two militants, Maj. Gen. Charles Omoregie said in an e-mailed statement.
The base is used to attack oil facilities and commit other crimes, the statement said. The government has set up a joint task force, of which Omoregie is commander, to improve security in the oil-producing region.
