The benchmark FTSE 100 Index fell 1.71, or less than 0.1 percent, to 5,815.23. The FTSE All-Share Index declined 0.1 percent, while Ireland’s ISEQ Index fell 1.6 percent.
Electrocomponents Plc (ECM LN): The engineering-supplies company is scheduled to report first-half earnings. The company may report net income of 25.3 million pounds ($40.8 million) according to the average of 4 estimates compiled by Bloomberg. The shares fell 1.6 percent to 247.9 pence.
Eros International Plc (EROS LN): The U.K.’s biggest distributor of Indian movies is scheduled to report first-half earnings. The shares rose 3.9 percent to 227.5 pence.
Hornby Plc (HRN LN): The maker of Scalextric racing cars is due to report first-half earnings. The stock was unchanged at 143.5 pence.
Kier Group Plc (KIE LN): The company that helped to build the Channel Tunnel rail link is to hold its Annual General Meeting. The shares fell 3.6 percent to 1,286 pence.
