Japan May Permit Central Bank to Trim Contributions, Nikkei Says

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Japan’s Ministry of Finance may permit the central bank to reduce contributions to the national treasury should it incur losses in its 5 trillion yen ($61.2 billion) asset purchase program, Nikkei English News said, without saying where it obtained the information.

Finance Minister Yoshihiko Noda may “soon” make an official announcement, Nikkei said.
