Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Brioni Roman Style SpA, whose suits have been worn by Clark Gable and James Bond, said it promoted Francesco Pesci to chief executive officer.
The appointment of Pesci, who was previously commercial director, is effective immediately, Penne, Italy-based Brioni said today in a statement.
General Manager Antonio Bianchini had been handling the day-to-day running of the suitmaker since Andrea Perrone, the grandson of Brioni co-founder Gaetano Savini, resigned as CEO in July.
