Oct. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Wind Telecomunicazioni SpA has asked banks to refinance 3.5 billion euros ($4.9 billion) of debt, daily Il Messaggero reported, without saying where it got the information.
UniCredit SpA, Italy’s largest bank, is willing to take part in the new financing, according to the Italian newspaper. Other banks include Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA, Deutsche Bank AG, BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse Group AG, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc and Citigroup Inc., the daily said.
