Sept. 16 (Bloomberg) -- France’s CAC 40 Index fell 0.5 percent to 3,736.3 at the 5:30 p.m. close in Paris. The SBF 120 Index also dropped 0.5 percent.
Emailvision SA (ALEMV FP) rallied 4.7 percent to 2.92 euros after the software publisher reported a 46 percent increase in first-half sales, compared with the same period last year.
Etablissements Maurel & Prom SA (MAU FP), the French oil explorer focusing on Africa, surged 6.9 percent to 9.93 euros after Deutsche Bank AG upgraded the shares to “buy” from “hold.”
Eutelsat Communications SA (ETL FP) gained 1.9 percent to 29.27 euros as Citigroup Inc. rated the shares “buy” in new coverage at the broker.
Schneider Electric SA (SU FP), the world’s largest maker of low-voltage equipment, climbed 1.6 percent to 92.43 euros after it was upgraded to “buy” from “neutral” at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
