Aug. 30 (Bloomberg) -- German labor unions plan a “hot” autumn to protest government policies covering pensions, welfare benefits and pay for temporary workers, DGB trade union federation Chairman Michael Sommer was quoted as saying by the Hamburger Abendblatt.
The federation plans demonstrations from September in Germany’s biggest cities, Sommer is cited as saying in an interview published today. “For us, this country has lost its balance,” said Sommer, according to the newspaper.
