Aug. 20 (Bloomberg) -- ReneSola Ltd., the world’s largest recycler of scrap wafers used in solar panels, said it won two contracts to supply 836 megawatts of wafers to two Taiwan-based panel makers.
Neo Solar Power Corp. will buy 434 megawatts of wafers from October through the end of 2013, and Solartech Energy Corp. will buy 402 megawatts under a contract that began in July and will continue through the end of 2013, Jiashan, China-based ReneSola said today in a statement.
ReneSola rose 22 cents to $8 a share as of 8:32 a.m. in early trading in New York. The shares have returned about 66 percent this year, making ReneSola the top performer among the 38-member Bloomberg Global Solar Leaders Index.
