Graeme Smith Quits as South Africa’s Twenty20 Cricket Captain

Aug. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Graeme Smith stepped down as South Africa’s Twenty20 cricket captain in a bid to prolong his career in the sport’s longer forms.

Smith, who’s led his country in all three versions since 2003, said at a news conference in Johannesburg today that he will also resign as one-day captain after the World Cup next year.
