Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- General Motors Co.’s Opel unit should return to a profit by 2012 at the latest, Nick Reilly, Opel’s chief executive officer, told Frankfurter Rundschau.
Opel aims to boost its market share in Germany to a double-digit percentage amount from about 8 percent, Reilly said in the interview. The company’s new compact car, “Junior,” should be street-ready in about 2 ½ years, he told the newspaper.
