Aug. 3 (Bloomberg) -- An airplane crash in Siberia killed 11 people, Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region government said in a statement on its website today.
Four people survived after the AN-24 aircraft crashed 700 meters from the Igarka airport runway late yesterday, the statement said. The injured were taken to a local hospital.
The Katekavia Airlines aircraft was heading to Igarka from the city of Krasnoyarsk. Russia’s Emergency Ministry confirmed the information on its website.
