July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech may miss the start of the Premier League season with a torn muscle in his right calf.
Cech, 28, was injured in training yesterday and is expected to sidelined for a month, Chelsea said on its website. The Premier League champion opens the season Aug. 14 at home aganst West Bromwich Albion.
Henrique Hilario and Ross Turnbull are the other goalkeepers in the Chelsea squad.
