July 18 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen has extended his lead to eight shots in the final round of golf’s British Open at St. Andrews in Scotland.
Oosthuizen is 2-under par today on the Old Course and 17-under for the tournament. His lead went to eight shots from four on the 12th hole after he birdied as playing partner Paul Casey made triple-bogey.
Casey and Lee Westwood, both from England, are currently tied for second at 9-under. Casey is 2-over par for his round after 12 holes and Westwood is 2-under through 14 holes.
