Threadneedle Appoints Goldman’s Cielinski to Head Fixed Income

July 15 (Bloomberg) -- Threadneedle Asset Management Ltd. said it hired Jim Cielinski as head of fixed income from Goldman Sachs Group Inc.

Cielinski will join Threadneedle in October to lead a team that manages institutional and retail funds worth 22.6 billion pounds ($34.8 billion) across government bonds, investment grade, high yield, emerging market debt, Treasuries and asset-backed securities, the company said in an e-mailed statement.

Cielinski spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as managing director and head of global investment-grade credit, Threadneedle said.
