France’s benchmark CAC 40 Index rose
13.18, or 0.4 percent, to 3,567.66, a fifth day of gains. The SBF-120 Index also advanced 0.4 percent.
The following companies’ shares were among the most active in France today. Symbols are in parentheses.
Groupe SEB SA (SK FP) rallied 6.3 percent to 58.48 euros, a seventh straight gain. The world’s largest maker of countertop kitchen appliances was upgraded to “buy” from “neutral” at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Orco Property Group SA (ORC FP) rose 5.6 percent to 5.12 euros. The developer overhauling operations under a court-approved plan said it recovered 11.9 million euros ($15 million) in cash.
Theolia SA (TEO FP) fell 3.1 percent to 1.25 euros. The Aix-en-Provence-based wind-power company may add to its presence in Morocco following its capital-raising campaign, Journal des Finances said July 10, citing an interview with Chief Executive Officer Fady Khallouf.
Zodiac Aerospace SA (ZC FP) climbed 7.1 percent to 42.62 euros. Europe’s biggest maker of airplane seats rejected a takeover approach from jet-engine-maker Safran SA, saying the companies have little overlap or potential cost savings.
Safran (SAF FP), which declined 2.6 percent to 21.75 euros, said it will continue to seek a merger with Zodiac.
