June 25 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies’ shares may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the last close.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index fell 1.8 percent to 249.78. The Stoxx 50 Index dropped 1.8 percent to 2,414.37. The Euro Stoxx 50 Index, a benchmark for nations using the euro, declined 2.2 percent to 2,645.32.
Ciments Vicat (VCT FP): The concrete maker said it completed a 195 million-euro financing to build a plant in India that will have a cement capacity of 5.5 million tons per year. The shares dropped 2.5 percent to 55 euros.
Electricite de France SA (EDF FP): Europe’s biggest power producer has postponed a decision on investing in a new methane terminal in Dunkirk, northern France, Le Monde reported, citing an unidentified company spokesman. The shares fell 3.1 percent to 34 euros.
GDF Suez SA (GSZ FP): The French utility can raise regulated natural gas prices for households by 4.7 percent from July 1, the French energy regulator said. The Commission de Regulation de l’Energie also said the first results from an audit on the way the company calculates rates points to possible changes to incorporate lower prices on the spot markets. The shares fell 2.4 percent to 25 euros.
Groupe Gorge (GOE FP): The maker of submarine robotics and composite parts for cars and airplanes said it has stopped its shipbuilding business, which was put in liquidation by a commercial court. The shares fell 1.7 percent to 6.39 euros.
Stagecoach Group Plc (SGC LN): The operator of the U.K.’s busiest commuter-rail service was raised to “buy” from “hold” at Deutsche Bank AG. The shares fell 0.2 percent to 190.4 pence.
4Energy Invest SA (ENIN BB): The operator of two biomass-fueled co-generation plants said that a contract for the construction of a torrefaction facility in Amel between its affiliate Renogen SA and Stramproy Green Technology BV has been terminated. Renogen SA has taken over control and responsibility for the facility, 4Energy Invest said. The shares fell 9 percent to 3.35 euros.
