Ghana Ties 1-1 With 10-Man Australia in World Cup Group D Match

June 19 (Bloomberg) -- Ghana tied 10-man Australia 1-1 in their World Cup Group D match in Rustenburg, South Africa.

Australia’s Harry Kewell received a red card in the 24th minute for a handball on the goal line. Asamoah Gyan scored with the penalty kick to tie the game after Brett Holman put Australia ahead in the 11th minute.

The Netherlands beat Japan 1-0 earlier and Cameroon faces Denmark later today in Group E games.
