The referee in England’s final pre-World Cup match said Wayne Rooney risks being sent off during the tournament if he doesn’t control his temper, the Sun reported.
The England striker was shown a yellow card after cursing at referee Jeff Selogilwe during a 3-0 win over South African team Platinum Stars yesterday.
“He must learn to control his temper,” the Sun quoted Selogilwe as saying. “ He could get sent off in the World Cup, especially if he uses this kind of language. If he insults a referee like me, then he will use that vulgar language to other referees as well.”

Redknapp could offer 12 million pound-rated Robbie Keane as part of a deal for Agbonlahor, the Express said.
Yaya Toure’s agent said the Ivory Coast midfielder’s potential move to Arsenal is the key to Cesc Fabregas joining Barcelona, the Daily Mirror reported.
Manchester City and Chelsea are also tracking Toure, the newspaper added.
