June 6 (Bloomberg) -- Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell scored a final-round 63, 8-under par, to win golf’s Wales Open by three shots, his fifth title on the European Tour.
McDowell finished on 15-under par at Celtic Manor and picked up a check for 300,000 pounds ($435,000). Rhys Davies of Wales finished second after a course-record 62, hitting two eagles and six birdies.
England’s Luke Donald finished third today on 10-under. Davies was second to Donald a week ago at the Madrid Masters.
