Nobu Berkeley Wins Best Bar, Fat Duck Triumphs in U.K. Awards

June 2 (Bloomberg) -- Nobu Berkeley Street won London Bar of the Year and the Connaught was named best hotel last night in the Quintessentially Awards. Boujis took best London nightclub.

El Bulli triumphed as international restaurant of the year and the Fat Duck was top in the U.K.

Soho House won the London private members’ club title and the international nightclub of the year was the Box, in New York.

The winners were picked by members of Quintessentially, an international concierge service with membership that starts at 1,000 pounds ($1,455) a year. The awards were announced in an event at the Freemasons’ Hall in London’s Covent Garden.

Winners included One & Only Reethi Rah Hotel, Maldives (International Hotel); Necker Island (Private Island); Singapore Airlines (Air Travel); Frieze (Art Exhibition); Aston Martin One-77 and Jaguar XJ (Car); Van Cleef & Arpels (Fine Jeweler); Candy & Candy (Interior Design); Tom Ford (Menswear); Hermes (Perfume); Cartier (Watch); Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel (Womenswear); Sunseeker (Yacht Charter); Clinique la Prairie, Switzerland (Retreat Spa); Mandarin Oriental London (Urban Spa.)

The Quintessentially awards are presented in conjunction with the British Virgin Islands.
