May 14 (Bloomberg) -- The following companies’ shares may have unusual moves in European trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses.
Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena SpA (BMPS IM): Italy’s third-biggest bank reported first-quarter earnings that beat analysts’ estimates. Net income fell 53 percent to 142.2 million euros ($178.3 million), which topped the average estimate 95.7 million euros from seven analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
Indra Sistemas SA (IDR SM): Spain’s largest computer-services company said first-quarter profit was almost unchanged from a year earlier at 46.6 million euros.
Faes Farma SA (FAE SM): The pharmaceutical company said first-quarter net income rose 4.1 percent to 8.4 million euros.
Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica SA (GAM SM): The wind turbine-maker said first-quarter profit slumped 75 percent to 8 million euros on reduced demand.
Sonae Industria SGPS SA (SONI PL): The Portuguese wood-panels manufacturer said its first-quarter net loss narrowed to 35 million euros from a restated 42 million euros a year earlier.
