May 11 (Bloomberg) -- Acting Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski leads Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of the opposition Law & Justice Party, by 45 percent to 34 percent before the first round of presidential elections set for June 20, TVN 24 reported yesterday, citing a poll by Millward Brown SMG/KRC.
Support for Komorowski, the candidate of the ruling Civic Platform party, held steady from the previous SMG/KRC poll on May 4, while Kaczynski gained 4 percentage points, TVN24 said, citing a survey of 998 Poles. According to the survey, Komorowski would defeat Kaczynski 54 percent to 41 percent in a two-candidate runoff. TVN24 didn’t say what day the poll was taken.
