May 9 (Bloomberg) -- The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers moved within one game each of reaching the National Basketball Association conference series finals.
The Magic beat the Atlanta Hawks 105-75, while the Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 111-110. Each has a 3-0 advantage in their best-of-seven conference semifinal series.
At Philips Arena in Atlanta, Rashard Lewis scored 22 points and Dwight Howard had 21 points for the Magic.
Jamal Crawford was top scorer with 22 points for the Hawks, who will try to avoid elimination from the playoffs tomorrow in Atlanta.
At EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah, the defending champion Lakers were led by Kobe Bryant, who had 35 points.
Deron Williams scored 28 points for the Jazz, who will try to get their first series win tomorrow in Salt Lake City.
